"GETTING GREAT PORTRAITS" - Usually given as a one-day worksop from 1-5PM.

This class is fun! Students learn portrait photography with a hands-on approach to the classic lighting patterns and styles developed by photographers from 1860 through modern day Hollywood. Students will learn to adapt to challenging lighting conditions inside and outdoors by using a NON-TECHNICAL system developed for beginners and intermediate photographers.

Also included: Choosing the best lighting in and around your home for portraits, subject posing for maximum effect, equipment discussions, avoiding common pitfalls, understanding why your camera is behaving badly, getting the most from your particular camera model, etc. This class is for any hobbyist with the desire to take their photography to the next level.
